Power Pack Table Module

Great for pricing breakdowns, quick comparisons, or for displaying short, un-complicated data. Let's re-create this table using Power Pack's Table Module:

Pros:

  • Quick and easy
  • Styled nicely by default
  • Stay inside Beaver Builder's Page Builder
  • See your changes as you make them
  • Can make table sortable
  • Responsive!

Cons:

  • No colspan or rowspan
  • Have to enable Page Builder
  • Can't export table data

UABB Table Module

Comperable to Power Pack's module, with the addition of rowspan and colspan. Not responsive, which makes it less usable. We'll recreate this table using UABB's Table Module:

Pros:

  • Rowspan and colspan
  • Can import a .csv
  • Can make info sortable
  • Quick and easy(ish)
  • Styled "ok" by default
  • Stay inside Beaver Builder's Page Builder
  • See your changes as you make them

Cons:

  • Have to enable Page Builder
  • Not responsive
  • Can't export table data

Tablepress Plugin

Great for lots of complex data. Wonderful if you need to keep a massive table (or tables) updated regularly. Tedious to make by hand, but import/export features are awesome. Now let's recreate a table using the Tablepress Plugin:

Pros:

  • Rowspan and colspan
  • Structure laid out in front of you
  • Can use a shortcode inside a regular page, post, or Page Builder page
  • Can upload tables
  • Can export table data

Cons:

  • Can't see your changes as you make them
  • Default styles are meh
  • Mildly responsive (with an extension)
