Dr. Sandra Gomez is double-boarded in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and has authored chapters in several academic textbooks on the topics of pain management and the palliative management of heart failure. She is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Palliative Care at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she teaches fellows specializing in Palliative Medicine.
