Barbara Rose is the Senior Project Administrator for Community Programs at Hospice of Cincinnati since 2012 . She has successfully pursued and retained two multi- million dollar grants for 1) Conversations of a Lifetime, a multi -faceted community project to improve advance care planning in the area’s health systems and community and 2) PalliaCare Cincinnati , a home based palliative care service with NPs , nurses and a social worker providing supportive care in the home to patients with life limiting illness.
Prior to her work in advance care planning and better end of life care , Barbara was the Program Director for the Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative (OPQC) , a successful statewide perinatal improvement collaborative impacting Ohio’s 140,000 annual births.
She has a master’s degree in public health from St. Louis University and 39 years of experience in the fields of nursing, public health, physician practice, program management and community based health improvement.
