COVID-19 has ushered in a new era of telehealth utilization, with government policies facilitating massive changes in care delivery, many of which may be here to stay. This session covers policy innovation around telehealth for those with serious illness and how it has changed the care delivery and payment landscape. Speakers will discuss the unique needs and challenges the seriously ill face as an increasing volume of care is delivered virtually, with an emphasis on ensuring health equity in telehealth access and quality for those from underserved and minority communities.
