About the Session

Effective communication between patients and their health care provider is vital for ensuring high-quality serious illness care. Pastoral care is uniquely suited for bridging the gap and ensuring that important conversations are conducted with sensitivity and consideration of cultural competencies. During this session, attendees will share their own experiences and learn new strategies for creating a compassionate dialogue between clinicians and those living with serious illness.
