Building Trust at the Local Level

Wednesday, October 28th

About the Session

Building health equity requires us to rethink and reimagine our traditional methods of outreach, care delivery, and calls to action for the sickest and most vulnerable among us. Cigna and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare have come together to test pilot a new engagement model that leverages the experience, perspective, and understanding of local Community Health Workers and Educators to develop trusted relationships with their customers in order to first identify and address social and economic barriers to quality of health, and then support them on their health journey. Attendees will hear key findings from this research and learn about the landscape in which it was conducted.
